The tasks a Dairy worker, General is expected to perform include:
• Performing all or several tasks in the preparation of various dairy products
• Pasteurizing raw milk or other dairy products to remove harmful bacteria
• Developing bacterial culture for use in making butter, buttermilk, cheese and other products
• Separating the cream from the milk and churning it into butter
• Curdling the milk and converting the curd into cheese
• Making ice-cream
