The tasks a Midwifery Attendant is expected to perform include:
Assisting the Midwife in rendering antenatal and post-natal care to women
Performs tasks such as bathing, massaging and feeding new born babies and their mothers
Giving enemas to babies, under supervision of Nurse
Maintaining general cleanliness in the maternity wards
Helping Nursing Staff in operation theatres or delivery room, if required
